Beginning this blog feels like opening a personal and professional dialogue that I have been meaning to start for a long time. My path in music began when I was eight years old, learning piano with my father, who is an opera singer. By the age of ten, I entered the conservatory’s piano department, and those early years shaped the discipline and curiosity that still guide my work today. Even then, although I didn’t fully understand what it meant, the idea of writing music for films felt like a distant dream. After university I moved into orchestral conducting, and that journey eventually led me toward film scoring, where I finally stepped into the world I had imagined for so long.

Here, I want to write not only about the music I compose but also about the artistic ideas that influence me outside the act of writing notes. Thoughts on storytelling, aesthetics, the creative process, and the experiences that shape a musician’s perspective will all find a place in these pages. At the same time, I hope these posts will reach people who are interested in film music from the outside, including those who dream of becoming score composers but don’t know how to begin, those who want to understand the industry more clearly, or anyone who simply enjoys exploring the craft behind a soundtrack.
There is one principle guiding this series: What would I have wanted to read ten years ago? I often wished there was someone who talked openly about their journey, their mistakes, their discoveries, and the everyday reality of building a path in this field. If these writings can become the resource I once searched for, then this blog will serve its purpose.
If any part of this story speaks to you, whether you are a musician, a film lover, or someone searching for their own creative direction, I hope you will stay with me as this conversation unfolds. Next: "A Path That Found Its Own Shape"
